“We would like to thank you and your team for your support and commitment to our recent event. Your advice and involvement enabled us to host a highly successful event and show case the Academy’s ability to deliver world class leadership for better health and wellbeing. The small details make the biggest difference and we were able to relax and enjoy the conference as delegates knowing the event was in safe hands. It has been a pleasure to work with you and the contribution you have made was invaluable in ensuring the high profile of the day and the NHS North West Leadership Academy” NHS North West - Better Care Through Better EducationThe Mersey Deanery had experienced significant restructure prior to this event, so they needed to increase understanding of the Deanery’s vision, and how this fits into the wider SHA. We formulated an interactive programme which brought their ideas to life and encouraged exploration of what’s working currently, and what could be done differently. The feedback from the event was extremely positive, calling the day enjoyable, educational and fun. With the focus on customers, tutors, trusts, patients and themselves, staff told us they gained a lot from it and thought that everyone else felt the same.
NHS North West Inspiration - Stand Up to the MicInspiration North West hosted an event during National Customer Service Week promoting a positive patient experience within the NHS. Inviting speakers from both the private sector and the NHS to share their experiences and best practices. Attendees consisted of Board level and equivalent members of NHS Trusts in the North West. The event was fully interactive, with a marketplace designed for networking and sharing of best practices, a vox pop booth for delegates to put on record thoughts and suggestions and workshops allowing them to have their say on the issues that matter to them. The event included an awards ceremony, to recognise best practice.
National Leadership Council - Emerging LeadersThis event brought together NHS leaders and stakeholders from across the country to confirm and commit to our plans to develop world class leaders in the NHS. They were given the platform to discuss, debate and recognised that there is a call for flexible, accountable and progressive people and networks to strengthen the existing talent and bring new leaders into the NHS at all levels. It resulted in agreement to the workstreams and delivery structure for Emerging Leaders, and also gave NHS leaders and stakeholders the opportunity to network and influences the Emerging Leaders agenda.
